InsureTech Excession is Arturo's inaugural hackathon event that intends to explore opportunities to solve the Insurance industry’s biggest challenges.
Building the most innovative solutions to provide real business value and drive the Insurance industry forward is at the heart of everything we do at Arturo, and this premier event is just one of the many ways that Arturo is trying to progress the the way we do Insurance.
What is The Challenge?
This year’s hackathon will provide opportunities for teams to innovate and build a solution for a natural peril problem of their choice that greatly affects the Insurance ecosystem, specifically focused on the Gulf Coast of Texas.
What kind of natural perils apply?
Natural perils include, but are not limited to: Flood, Hail, Landslide, Wildfire, Tornado, Hurricane, etc.
What are the use cases?
Use cases include anything across the Insurance customer lifecycle, but are not limited to: Underwriting, Claims, Inspections, etc.
What is the in-person finale event?
The in-person finale event is a chance for teams to demo their solutions to judges and registered attendees.
This interactive, e-sports like event will bring together Insurance Professionals, Data Providers, Imagery Providers, and other industry influencers.
When & where is the finale event?
The in-person finale event will take place at the HyperX Esports Arena at The Luxor on Monday, October 4, 2021.
